Inspired by afro funk artists such as Fela Kuti, the Afro Influenced Funk
Federation – better known as AIFF – was formed by two Dutch musicians: drummer,
DJ, and producer Phil Martin and bassist/guitarist Ton van der Kilk. The duo’s
intention for AIFF was to take afro funk in a new direction. Combining deep
funk, soul, jazz, reggae, and afro music, AIFF brought the ‘70s grooves that
