Born Aimi Terakawa on December 25, 1991, in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, the anime voice actress and J-pop singer known mononymously as Aimi kicked off her career in 2011 after winning an audition to become part of the Tantei Opera Milky Holmes media franchise. Her voice acting career began shortly after; she joined the franchise as the character Kazumi Tokiwa and later as a member of the music group Feathers along with fellow voice actress Ayasa Itō.
