Alex Chu, also known as Alex or Chu Hun-gon, is a Korean-Canadian singer and
actor born on September 2, 1979. He is the male vocalist of the South Korean
electropop band Clazziquai, which gained immense popularity after featuring on
the soundtrack of the hit drama series My Lovely Samsoon. After immigrating to
Canada with his family, Alex returned to South Korea and rose to fame as part of
Clazziquai. The group announced a temporary hiatus in 2008, during which its
