Former lead singer of the new wave electronic pop group Yazoo with Vince Clarke, Allison Moyet (born in Basildon, Essex, on June 18, 1961) embarked on a solo career in 1983, marked by numerous chart-toppers ("Love Ressurection", "Is This Love?"...).
