The singer and producer Ama Serwah Genfi, known to the public as Amaarae, was
born on July 4, 1994 in New York, USA. With her clever lyrics, extroverted
fashionable style and songs produced down to the smallest detail, she has become
a global pioneer of the African alté genre. She wrote her first original songs
