Born on January 3, 1999, Amaia Romero Arbizu, known by her stage name Amaia,
grew up in a musical family. In 2011, she took part in the first edition of the
El Número Uno singing competition and was eliminated after six weeks of
competition. Six years later, she competed in another televised competition,
Operación Triunfo, which she won. Her victory qualifies her to represent Spain
in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Her song "Tu Canción" is finally chosen.
