Amine was born in Morocco and moved to France at a very young age. He perfectly
synthesized his R&B and raï influences to create the raï'n'b style, popularized
in 2004 with the compilation Raï'n'B Fever. Amine released his own album, Au
Delà des Rêves, in 2005, and enjoyed massive success, reaching number 16 in the
SNEP charts. The single "J'voulais" was a brilliant No. 1. Mes Sources, sung
entirely in Arabic, was released in early 2008, but met with only limited
success in France.
