Ana Cañas
Ana Paula Hipólito Cañas (September 14, 1980), or simply Ana Cañas, is a
Brazilian singer-songwriter. Born and raised in São Paulo, she studied
performing arts before deciding to pursue a career in music. Amor e Caos, her
studio debut, was released in 2007 via Sony Music. The album elicited praises
from critics and included the Caetano Veloso cover “Coração Vagabundo,” which
was featured on the soap opera Beleza Pura. Preceded by the smash hit
“Esconderijo,” named one of the best songs of the year by Rolling Stone Brazil,
