Born on April 13, 1938 in Vilnius, Poland, Andrzej Dąbrowski is a jazz singer,
drummer, and composer as well as journalist, photographer, and former rally
driver. His musical career began as a drummer but then took a turn in the
mid-1960s when he became known more for his singing. He went to Music High
School in Krakow, Poland, performing in a jazz trio with Wojciech Karolak. He
attended the Instrumental Department of the Higher School of Music, where he
