Fairweather Low has done it all. Born in Ystrad Mynach, Wales on August 2, 1948,
he rocketed to fame in the late 1960s as front man for the band Amen Corner, who
initially started playing blues and jazz but morphed into one of the biggest hit
bands of the day. After scoring a number 1 hit in 1969 with “(If Paradise Is)
Half as Nice,” he formed a new band Fair Weather, with Blue Weaver, Dennis
Bryon, Clive Taylor and Neil Jones, and scored a Top 10 hit with “Natural
