Injecting a dose of glamour and pizzaz into the bouncy world of Romanian
dance-pop, Antonia Clara Iacobescu, known mononymously as Antonia, first stepped
into the spotlight with 2009's Eurodance bop "Roses on Fire," produced by
Romanian artist Tom Boxer. She reunited with Boxer again the following year for
her second single, the radio-friendly club firework "Morena." Born on April 12,
1989 in Bucharest, Romania, Antonia went to music school in the US and grew up
in Las Vegas and Utah, which informed aspects of her musical direction. A debut
