Born Antonio José Sánchez Mazuecos on 2 January 1995 in Palma del Rio, Córdoba,
the Spanish singer known as Antonio José fixed his sights on music from an early
age and, encouraged by his mother, began pursuing his dream. In 2005, he
performed the song "Te traigo flores" ("I bring you flowers") at the Junior
Eurovision Song Contest, where he finished second place. The song formed the
titular inspiration for his debut album, which he released that same year and on
