Since its formation in Halmstad in 1995, Swedish band Arch Enemy has been
developing aggressive death metal with melodic tendencies, led by guitarist
Michael Amott (ex-Carcass and Carnage). The band went through two periods, with
singer Johan Liiva until Burning Bridges (1999), then with singer Angela Gossow
from 2001 and the album Wages of Sin. 2009 sees the release of their eighth
opus, The Root of All Evil. In 2011, Khaos Legions marks the return of producer
