Born on 16 May 1977 in Tokyo, Asami Imai (今井麻美) is a renowned Japanese voice
actress and singer, known for her versatile vocal range and peerless
performances in a wide variety of anime, video games, and music. Growing up in
what is now known as Shūnan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, she began her career
while she was still studying, and in 1998 won the Grand Prize for the Voice
