Known best for their 1993 track "La Noche Que Murio Chicago" – a cover of Paper Lace's 1974 hit "The Night Chicago Died" – Banda Toro were at the forefront of Mexico's la quebradita movement in the 1990s. Founded in L.A., California in 1992 by Zacatecas-born Saúl Esqueda, the group released their debut self-titled album in 1993.
