Bass Thioung
Singer, songwriter and composer Bassirou Diagne, aka Bass Thioung, was born in
Dakar, Senegal, on September 18, 2000. He quickly made a name for himself with
his griot voice and ancestral rhythms, breathing new life into teranga and lebou
music. His nickname Thioung comes from the name of a Senegalese drum. He quickly
made a name for himself on platforms with his debut single "Zeuzeul Love"
(2018). The artist established a reputation as an ambience artist, blending
