Bayhan Gürhan is an Arabesque musician who launched a popular solo career in
Turkey after appearing on the Popstar Türkiye, where he competed against other
vocalists and finished in third place. Born on March 14, 1980, in Adana, Turkey,
Gürhan hdd a troubled childhood. He lost his mother at six years old and soon
relocated to Germany, where he was taken into custody by the German Child
Protective Services at nine years old. Returning to Turkey in 1991, he spent the
final years of the decade in prison, serving a multi-year sentence for murder.
