Beausoleil
Known for their unique blend of traditional Cajun music with other genres, such
as zydeco, jazz, and blues, BeauSoleil is a Grammy Award-winning Cajun band
hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana. The band was formed in 1975 by Michael
Doucet, who over the years mastered the fiddle and other traditional Cajun
instruments. Only released in France, their first studio album La Nuit saw the
light in 1976 and was followed by their US debut The Spirit of Cajun Music in
