Bebi Romeo
Bebi Romeo is the stage name of Indonesian musician Virdy Megananda, who
launched his career as the vocalist of bands like Bima and Romeo before becoming
a hit songwriter for a wide range of Indonesian artists. Born in Jakarta on
September 6, 1974, he joined Bima in the mid-1990s and appeared on the band's
only release, Sebuah Awal, in 1996. Following the group's breakup, he joined
Romeo. The group's self-titled debut appeared in 1998 and included "Bunga
Terakhir," a popular single written and sung by Bebi Romeo. The band's follow-up
albums — 2002's Wanita and 2006's Lelaki Untuk...
