Behemoth
Originally from the Polish metal scene, Behemoth has built up an international
reputation with the help of black and death metal albums such as Grom (1996) and
Demigod (2004). This success owes much to the personality of singer Nergal, the
only surviving member since the band's inception in 1991. In 2009, the album
Evangelion reached number one in Poland and appeared in the international sales
charts, notably in the USA. The band was then slowed down by leukemia affecting
