Bringing together groundbreaking indie acts with electro dancefloor grooves,
Erol Alkan was the founding DJ of influential noughties London club night Trash.
Teaming up with Richard Norris, who founded the psychedelic re-issue label Bam
Caruso releasing some of the first acid house records, Alkan sought to mix 60s
pop melodies with Balearic beats as production duo Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve.
They started out by mixing records by The Monkees and The Hollies with obscure
psychedelic tracks and drum & bass backdrops on their early EPs, and re-worked
