Blackstreet are an American R&B and hip-hop group formed in New York in 1991 by
Teddy 'Street' Riley and Chauncey 'Black' Hannibal with Dave Hollister and Lenny
Harold. Their eponymous 1994 album reached number seven on Billboard's Top
R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and number 52 on the Billboard 200 and 'Another Level'
(1996) topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and went to number three on the 200. The
track 'No Diggety' from that release, featuring Dr. Dre, topped both the
R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and the Hot 100 and won the Grammy Award for Best R&B
Performance By a Duo Or Group With Vocal.
