Bobby Raps
Born Robert John Richardson on December 22, 1992, in St. Paul, Minnesota,
American rapper, singer-songwriter and producer Bobby Raps first jumped to fame
in the mid-2010s as a member of the hip-hop collective Thestand4rd. Known for
his left-field production style and introspective lyrics, he began rapping and
producing beats during his high school years and self-released his debut
mixtape, Gimme Daps, in 2011. The next few years found the Minnesota MC opening
for the likes of E-40 and Too $hort and joining forces with local artists Allan
