Bomb the Bass

Electronic music
Acid house
At the height of the London acid house craze, Tim Simenon, an anonymous young DJ born in 1968, produced a club EP called "Beat Dis" under the name Bomb The Bass, a rhythmic collage of samples taken from soap operas, films and radio broadcasts. The single reached No. 2 in the charts, launching Tim's career. He is also a producer (for Neneh Cherry) and remixer (for Björk, Massive Attack). "Clear", in 1995, puts more emphasis on atmospheres than rhythms.
