(Boombox)
Boombox, a Ukrainian hip hop and rock band, was formed by Andriy Khlyvnyuk as a
side project for him and fellow musicians in 2004 in Kyiv. Boombox’s music
blends hip hop, jazz, funk, and rock. At the time of the formation, every member
was a part of another music band, Khlyvnyuk himself was a lead singer of
Мандариновый рай (Clementine Paradise). The new music project was presented to
the public during the Chaika 2004 music festival. One year later, Boombox
released its debut album Меломанія (Melomania) which conquered Ukrainian radio
stations immediately and also gained its list...
