Boombox, a Ukrainian hip hop and rock band, was formed by Andriy Khlyvnyuk as a
side project for him and fellow musicians in 2004 in Kyiv. Boombox’s music
blends hip hop, jazz, funk, and rock. At the time of the formation, every member
was a part of another music band, Khlyvnyuk himself was a lead singer of
Мандариновый рай (Clementine Paradise). The new music project was presented to
the public during the Chaika 2004 music festival. One year later, Boombox
