Bria Skonberg
After relocating to New York City in 2010 the Canadian jazz trumpeter and
vocalist Bria Skonberg continued her musical studies under the tutelage of the
famed American horn player Warren Vache. It marked a turning point in Skonberg's
career and she has gone on to co-found the New York Hot Jazz Festival and record
her most critically acclaimed albums including 'Bria', released in 2016 and
'With a Twist' released in 2017. 'With a Twist' garnered a coveted Juno Award
for Best Jazz Vocal Album.
