Gabrielle Ligertwood (née Fraser), known professionally as Brooke Fraser, was
born on December 15, 1983 in Wellington, New Zealand. The daughter of former All
Black rugby player Bernie Fraser – who is of Fijian, Portuguese, and Scottish
