Busta Flex is one of France's rap pioneers, following in the footsteps of
Suprême NTM. The first signing to the IV MY People label, the freestyler from
Epinay-sur-Seine (Seine-Saint-Denis) quickly gained recognition, his debut album
Busta Flex in 1998 reaching No. 8 in the charts. However, Busta Flex left Kool
Shen's label and waited until 2000 to release Sexe, Violence, Rap et Flooze,
which reached No. 12. After that, Busta Flex's success declined, with Eclipse
(2002), La Pièce Maitresse (2006) and Sexe, Violence, Rap et Flooze Vol 2 (2008)
all dropping down the charts.
