Calimeros
The Calimeros are a Swiss pop band founded in 1976. The idea of forming an
entertainment band was born in the Uetendorf sports club. In the early days, the
Calimeros consisted of Roland Eberhart, Kurt Wyss and three other musicians.
Initially, the band only played at regional festivals and celebrations. As a
result, they gained a good reputation within a few years. In 1983, the Calimeros
released their debut album Sommerwind. The single "Du bist wie die Sterne" ("You
are like the stars" ) is still one of the band's classics today. The entire
