The Pakistani alternative-rock group Call was formed in 1994 in Lahore, West
Punjab. The group's original lineup included keyboardist Zulfiqar J. Khan,
drummer Khurram J. Khan, guitarist Omer Pervaiz, and vocalist Danish J. Khan.
After making their live debut in 1995, the bandmates spent several years
performing together before briefly disbanding in October 2001. The following
September, Call reformed with a new singer, Junaid Khan. This version of Call
achieved commercial success with the chart-topping single "Nishaan," which
