The German metalcore outfit was formed in Düsseldorf in 2002 by singer Bastian Sobtzick, guitarists Thomas Buschhausen and Bernhard Horn, bassist Thorsten Becker, and drummer Maximilian Kotzmann. The group made its official debut in 2005 with the EP Chonos, released independently via their label My Favorite Toy Records. Willkommen im Beerdigungscafé, their first full-length, appeared in 2006.
