Carl Cox
Carl Cox is a British DJ who has ranked high in world DJ charts for many years
with several albums to his credit and international appearances in clubs and at
top festivals. Born in Greater Manchester, England and of Barbadian heritage, he
began mixing tapes as a teenager and broke into the world of techno and house
when he moved to Brighton in 1986. He has performed with artists such as Yousef,
Fatboy Slim, Jon Rundell and DJ Phantasy.
His track 'The Planet of Love' reached number 44 on the UK Albums Chart in 1993,
