Born in Mississippi on January 31, 1944, Charlie Musselwhite is the modern representative of blues played on the harmonica. After a childhood spent in Memphis, his parents moved to Chicago, where he followed the beginnings of rock'n'roll and found a way to quench his passion for the blues. Trained by Big Joe Williams and signed by the Vanguard label, he embarked on a career in 1967 that saw the release of some twenty original albums, including Tennessee Woman (1969), In My Time (1993) with The Blind Boys Alabama, Superharps (1999) with James Cotton and Billy Branch, and Sanctuary...
