Charlotte Wessels
Charlotte Wessels was born on May 13, 1987 in Zwolle, the Netherlands. She is a
Dutch singer and songwriter who is best known as the former frontwoman of the
symphonic metal band Delain, which she was a member of from 2005 to 2021. During
this time, she released six studio albums with the band, including the
successful Lucidity (2006), April Rain (2009) and Apocalypse & Chill (2020).
Charlotte Wessels' musical style moves between symphonic metal, alternative pop
and indie rock. After leaving Delain, she embarked on a solo career and released
