Born in 1997, Chase Matthew was raised in the rural outskirts of Nashville,
Tennessee, where he was influenced not only by the modern sounds of 21st century
country music, but also the gospel music he heard in church. Inspired, he began
making his own music in the late 2010s, using his popularity as a social media
