The R&B singer Ciara was born as "Ciara Princess Harris" on October 25, 1985, in
Austin, Texas. Her family later settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Ciara enjoyed
a stint in a girl group as a teenager before going solo with the help of
producer Jazze Pha. Her career took off when she co-wrote her breakthrough
