Dream pop / alternative rock band Cigarettes After Sex was formed in El Paso,
Texas, in 2008, by singer Greg Gonzales, who was a university student at the
time. The band’s original line-up included Randy Miller (bass), Jacob Tomsky
(drums), and Philip Tubbs (keyboards / guitar). The band stood out with their
androgynous tone, finely crafted melodies, and slow paced ethereal songs,
