Craig David's Grenada-born father George played bass with the reggae band Ebony
Rockers and David's early musical experiences were accompanying his father to
local dance club gigs where he performed at the microphone. His big break came
singing with garage act Artful Dodger, achieving a major UK hit in 1999 with the
