Craig Mack was an American rapper who prospered in the 1990s through
associations with Sean Combs and Notorious B.I.G.. His single 'Flava in Ya Ear',
a remix of an earlier Combs track, topped Billboard's Hot Rap Songs Chart, went
to number four on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and number nine on the Hot 100
in 1994. The album on which it appeared, 'Project: Funk Da World' peaked at
number six on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
Born in New Jersey, he released a single as a teenager before he met Combs who
