Born in Mauritania in 1971, Daby Touré is the heir to a triple musical culture:
African, English-speaking and French-speaking. Son of Hamidou Touré, of the
group Touré Kunda, he moved to France in 1992 and formed the duo Touré Touré
with his cousin Omar. A multi-instrumentalist and performer with a soft,
haunting voice, Daby Touré signed with the Real World label for the album Diam
(2004), followed by Stereo Spirit (2007). His third solo album Lang(u)Age,
