Dean Brody – born on August 12, 1975, in Smithers, British Columbia, Canada – is
an award-winning country music artist. Growing up in Jaffray, British Columbia,
he pursued music as a career, briefly moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2004 in
order to fulfill his musical dream. Finally establishing himself and signing a
songwriting contract, his US work permit expired, and he reluctantly moved back
to Canada. In 2008, he was encouraged to move back to Nashville by iconic
producer Keith Stegall, who helped him land a contract with Broken Bow Records.
