Originally hailing from Morton, Pennsylvania, American soul singer-songwriter
Devon Gilfillian, is based in Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up, his father was a
singer and percussionist in a local band, inspiring Gilfillian to pick up the
guitar at age 14, playing in a group called Black Sheep while he was still in
high school. In 2013, after relocating to Nashville, Gilfillian joined a local
blues cover band. His debut self-titled EP, characterised by gospel-inspired
