The Greek DJ and producer known as DJ Angelo grew up with dance music in his
blood. His uncle owned a disco, and by the time Angelo was a teenager he had
firmly set his sights on a career in music. A debut gig at Mamacas, the
legendary Athens night club led to a four-year residency which established his
name as one of the island's up-and-coming DJ talents.
He soon became associated with the Afro House sound which was being promoted to
European club-goers by DJ talents such as Manoo, Atjazz and Culoe de Song. DJ
