Donato & Estéfano
Donato & Estefano were a Latin pop duo formed in the United States in 1991. It
consisted of Cuban singer-songwriter Donato Póveda and Colombia native Fabio
"Estéfano" Salgado, who had previously contributed songs to Grammy-winning
albums by Gloria Estefan and Jon Secada. In 1995, their studio debut Mar Adentro
became a huge hit in Latin America thanks to the success of singles like "Sin
Tí" and "Estoy Enamorado." Donato & Estefano would go on to record two more
albums—Entre la Línea del Bien y la Línea del Mal (1997) and De Hombre a Mujer
