Best known for their Juno-winning synthpop single "Hello," Dragonette are an
electronic trio featuring vocalist Martina Sorbara, bassist/producer Dan Kurtz,
and drummer Joel Stouffer. After releasing solo albums like 2002's The Cure For
Bad Deeds as a fledgling folk singer, Sobrara met Kurtz — a member of popular
livetronica band The New Deal — at a Canadian music festival during the early
2000s. The two formed Dragonette, released the Dragonette EP in 2005, and
relocated to London to record their debut album, Galore. Released in 2007,
