J-Pop group Dreams Come True was formed in Japan in 1988. The R&B and new
wave-influenced group was originally a trio featuring vocalist Miwa Yoshida,
bassist Masato Nakamura, and keyboardist Takahiro Nishikawa. Signing to the
Epic/Sony Records label, Dreams Come True’s 1989 self-titled album was an
enormous success, reaching the Top 30 in Japan and selling over 500,000 copies.
Their second album, Love Goes On (1989), sold over a million copies and hit
