É O Tchan are a pop and dance group from Brazil featuring singers Beto Jamaica
and Tony Salles plus dancers Edson Cardoso (known as Jacaré), Carla Perez,
Sheila Mello and Scheila Carvalho. The line-up changed with different female
dancers who posed for men's magazines. Called originally Gera Samba, they
changed the name after their 1996 debut album, 'É O Tchan', and the track 'Segua
o Tchan' were big hits in Brazil. They followed up with releases including 'Na
Cabeça e na Cintura', 'É O Tchan do Brasil', 'É O Tchan no Havai' and 'É O Tchan
na Salva'.
