Eddie Money was an American rock singer. He was originally a New York City
police officer but turned in his badge in 1968 to move to California and become
a singer. In 1976 he changed his name to Eddie Money. Signed by Columbia
Records, his first hit was 'Baby Hold On' in 1977. He followed this up with
another hit rocker, 'Two Tickets to Paradise' in 1978. Both tracks appeared on
his debut album 'Eddie Money'.
His blue-collar rock was a natural fit for 1980s MTV and his videos helped make
