Rapper Elh Kmer was born Elh Hadj on 12 November 1998 in Yaoundé, Cameroon and
moved to France at the age of 11 where he was simultaneously drawn to the worlds
of rap and football. Growing up in Boulogne-Billancourt, he kicked off his
musical career with the rap group SDHS (Soldats des Hauts de Seine) and the
40000 Gang, the latter signing to Capitol Music France following the release of
viral single "Sosa" in 2014. The Anarchie mixtape followed in 2015, which
