Born on June 4, 1992 in the Dominican Republic, Dominican-American contemporary R&B singer, songwriter, and producer Elijah Blake began his career writing music for prominent artists like Keyshia Cole, Rick Ross, and Rihanna. Raised in Florida by a Haitian father and Dominican mother, as a 16-year-old he caught the attention of Atlantic Records who signed him up to work with Trey Songz on his Ready album in 2009.
